Band

Take the tape measure around the torso directly under the breasts where your bra band should sit.

You might need somebody to help you do this, make sure the tape measurement is comfortable and feels right for you.

Once you have the required measurement from the tape measure ie: 33

Go to the band sizing on the bra calculator and enter the number, the calculator will then give you the band size you require.

Note the number of inches and enter it here:

Cup

If you have had a mastectomy you need to measure the remaining breast. If you have had a lumpectomy, reconstruction or any other breast surgery you need to measure the largest breast.

When measuring the largest breast, you measure from the centre of the spine over the fullest part of the supported breast around to the centre of the sternum.

Once you have the required measurement from the tape measure ie: 19

Go to the cup sizing on the bra calculator and enter the number, the calculator will then give you the cup size you require.

After breast-conserving therapy or in asymmetric breasts

Underbust measurement

To measure the underbust, place the measuring tape directly underneath the breast where the bra band sits. Make sure that the measuring tape runs horizontally around the upper body and is at the same height in the front and the back. The measuring tape should fit snugly, but not too tight; you should be able to breathe normally.

Measure underneath the bust line from the centre front all the way around.

Note the number of inches and enter it here:

Chest measurement

Lay the measuring tape loosely over the fullest part of your chest (usually directly above the nipples) around the body. Again, make sure that the measuring tape runs horizontally around the upper body and is at the same height in the front and the back of the body.
